An experienced attorney, Lisa L. Stewart, focuses her practice in the areas of probate, family law, and real estate matters. Despite graduating with a bachelor’s degree in journalism, she always had an insatiable curiosity about how things work, including jurisprudence in our county. After working as a journalist for several years, she attended law school at South Texas College of Law. Her work at the school’s Legal Aid clinic and compassion for people in difficult circumstances led her to interest in probate and family law. She began practicing family law soon after graduation and became active in family law organizations. She furthered her study through research and publication of articles for continuing legal education for attorneys. She has also represented clients injured by defective pharmaceutical devices and prescription medications, prepared real estate documents, negotiated leases and sales, and helped clients with probate and estate planning. Lisa works to understand a client’s goals, evaluate his or her circumstances, help the client consider all options, and effectively advocate for the client’s position.
Lisa and her husband recently relocated to Boise, Idaho, and soon after, she was admitted to practice in Idaho. When she is not working, Lisa and her husband are hiking, biking, camping, or exploring the glorious natural beauty of southwest Idaho.
