Born and raised in a small town in Idaho, Lacen (pronounced “Lake-en”) developed a strong sense of community and hard work early in life. She earned her Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies at Idaho State University in 2012 and served as President of the Paralegal Studies Student Organization from 2011-2012. Yes, she takes paperwork and potlucks seriously. 

She spent the next chapter of life in Washington, where she continued a career as a Paralegal and started a family. Many years, countless case files, and a few rolling hills later she’s made her way back to Idaho to be closer to family. 

Now, she’s thrilled to be part of the Johnson May team, where she gets to combine her love for the law with her passion for helping people. When she isn’t in the office, you’ll usually find her hanging out with her kiddos, hunting for hidden gems around town – or perfecting her bowling score.
