Johnson May is Pleased to Announce Changes to our Team in 2021
Boise, ID – January 1, 2021. Johnson May based in Boise, Idaho, is pleased to announce exciting changes to our staff. Johnson May would like to congratulate our Attorney Sheli Fulcher Koontz on her promotion to the position of Partner with the firm and welcome our new Senior Associate, Louis Spiker. Johnson May has locations in both Boise, Idaho, and Twin Falls Idaho to serve all of Southern Idaho with five partners and a total of 15 attorneys covering a variety of practice areas.
Sheli handles cases in a variety of areas, including family law, estate planning, personal injury, family law mediation, and co-parenting coaching for Johnson May. Sheli’s mission is to take the guesswork out of navigating the legal system maze and provide concierge-style legal services that the clients need to enjoy long-term stability and success for themselves and their families. Sheli Fulcher Koontz earned her Juris Doctor at the University of Idaho in 2001, after obtaining degrees in molecular biology and forensic sciences from Northwest Nazarene College and Marquette University. Sheli’s initial practice years involved plaintiff personal injury work in the Boise area. Prior to joining Johnson May, Sheli owned and operated her own law firm for 10 years in Boise, Idaho.

Louis Spiker comes to Johnson May with over 10 years of legal experience in Idaho. His practice emphasizes creditor’s rights, commercial litigation, and business transactions. Louis also practices in the areas of real estate, land use, and agriculture. Louis Spiker earned his Juris Doctor at the University of Idaho College of Law after obtaining a degree in economics from the University of Michigan. Prior to joining Johnson May, Louis was a Partner for a Boise law firm where he managed the Creditors’ Rights practice group for the last five years.
